Position Title: Irrigation Technician - Entry Level

Job Description

Includes but is not limited to the following:

• 1 year experience working with commercial and/or residential irrigation systems is required.
• Trenching and Digging (by hand and with machines).
• Cut, clean, prime, and glue lateral line piping and fittings, properly.
• Cut and assemble drip tubing and properly install correct fittings/emitters.
• Multi-task and work efficiently.
• Must be able and amenable to work in various weather conditions.
• Position may require work in the rain, freezing or hot weather.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to work 8+ hours a day on your feet.
• Bending, squatting and body mobility is a must.
• Must be willing to work near heavy vehicular traffic safely, minding safety regulations and precautions.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends, if necessary to complete jobs on time.
• This is a full-time on-site role for an Entry Level Irrigation Technician to assist Senior Level Irrigation Technicians in the day to day maintenance and repair, and installation of irrigation systems.

Irrigation Technician Requirements

• Irrigation skills
• Troubleshooting experience
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Experience with landscape lighting is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial

Salary

• $20-$22 to start
